sorta here

Meeting two predictions, I’m in a better mood, and I’m not writing in here much. London was lovely, as usual, tho I would’ve preferred more vacation and less work, obviously. I found no eurodollars (forgot to look, technically) but had no time to shop anyway - and I was sick as a dog. Nyquil, dayquil, nyquil, dayquil. Ick. I must admit, there’s something about that constant drizzle that’s horribly romantic and fun. (Too bad my traveling companions are neither romantically interesting to me, nor particularly fun… a little adventure’d be good for them, wouldn’t it?) The London drizzle’s romantic in a Jane Eyre sort of way, anyway, not in a smootchy way. In Scotland, it might be romantic in both ways… I have to go back in the very near future, which is also cool, even tho the flight blows. And this time I’m going back to Ireland too, since I saw nothing but Dublin last time. I intended to travel around by train, but managed to never get it done…

sucky new year!

Y’know, I’m just not in the mood for this right now. I’ve been trying to get in the mood to write in this thing, but my new years sucked, I just found out that the guy I have a crush on has a girlfriend (and everybody I know is trying to get me to break it up - like I need that kind of karma) and I’m just in a generally shitty mood. Not really the writing spirit. I couldn’t even think of any “you know what really bugs me…” rants. But, I’m going back to London, which is cool. It’s more stress than I need right now, but the people I’ll be working with there are really nice, and it’s pretty fun overall… Maybe I’ll be in a better mood as it gets closer - or when I get some eurobucks in my hot little hands and do some euroshopping?
