skis and site fights

That snow was awesome, and it made for great skiing on Thursday, too.Yes, Thursday is my skiing day, obviously. It wasn’t as great as last week, mostly because it was so incredibly cold. It was very below zero (farenheit), but at least it kept people indoors. It wasn’t crowded at all…

For anybody who tried to get onto my page early last week, my server was down for at least Monday thru Wednesday. Maybe more. Grrr. But lovelies Sarina and Witchy are letting me back into the Mountains, in the Site Fights, since it wasn’t my fault. Aren’t they incredibly sweet? I probably won’t win, anyway, but it was nice of them to give me a fighting chance…

snow day!!

Woohoo! Snow Day!! They closed the office because we’ve had like a foot of snow in the last couple hours! I have on 3 pairs of pants, 2 sweaters, 2 pairs of socks, and I’m going out to make a snowman! Bye!

fantabulous!

What an awesome week! I bought an adorable house which I’ll close on in less than two weeks. Plus we got about a foot of snow on Wednesday, so the skiing on Thursday was excellent! (if a little crowded) And Susan and I went ice skating and out to dinner with some other nifty folks (some of whom are very very hyper but nice). I hadn’t seen her in ages, and she’s such a stitch! Plus, I won my latest fight in The Site Fights, and I’ll be in the Mountains next week. I can hardly wait to move into my house and start working on it. I hate that I have to close first. I mean, no one’s living there…

home!!!

Oh my gosh. I bought a house today. My first house. It’s so cute, and I still can’t believe it.

happy new year!

Happy New Year! Doesn’t that 2000 look good? I had an awesome time, in Atlanta (where it’s warm) with my best friend. We had loads of fun with sushi and heavy artillery, and he gave me a killer Millennium present. The coolest! And he still loves me, after all these years and trauma, which is nice. (Relax, Mom, it’s tectonic — er, platonic) But the power didn’t go out, and the phones work, and there’s no hysteria in the streets. I’m a little bummed, but it’s probably a good thing, since I didn’t buy any water or canned food…
