ahhhhhh

i decided to withdraw to ie 5.5 before deformatting. hopefully it will be “instead of.” happy so far…

update: normally i’d fix a typo, but “deformatting” is too funny.

nada

nope. still nothing useful to say. just keeping you posted. on that. nothingness.

i’m at work, at least.

kidding. i wouldn’t kill a dragon for anybody.

zzzzz

zzzzzzzz…..

irish this!

dammitall, who was it that posted about the irish trav3lers last week? i thought it was nancy and i meant to link to it, but my week was crazy, obviously, and now i can’t find it… i’m such a dork. it was really interesting, i swear…

gadzooks

i finally went to the grocery store today, and while i was bagging my groceries, i heard this thump behind me. i turned around, and there’s this ancient man on the floor, like a hundred, trying to get up. i tried to help him up, but he insisted he was fine and got up on his own and staggered out. poor guy. i just about had a heart attack. he slipped on a grape. i wish he’d stuck around to see the manager - he’s going to be sore in the morning. i think i’m going to start shopping at a carpeted grocery store…

childhood

when i was in my teens, my mom made soup every monday. i’ve never been a big soup eater, but my stepdad and my ex loved it. she apparently still does it. she brought over bean and ham soup for me and chicken soup (jewish penicillin) for the pooch yesterday. good thing too. i’m pretty sure i haven’t eaten anything since tuesday… yummy stuff.

now if i can just convince her to make pumpkin stew this weekend… what?! it’s for the pooch… honest.

love, etc

as my horoscope says, my bedroom is a crazy place right now, and i am jealous. my mom loves the pooch so much more than she ever loved me. she brought him bacon fat for his dinner and fawned all over him. she never goes out of her way when i’m sick. he tried to bite her. *snicker* i’m not evil. i’m not evil. i’m not evil. anyway, she loves him, and that makes two of us. but he loves me more than anything else under the sun, and i love him that much too. or more. he lets me dress him up in halloween costumes and raincoats and snow booties and take out his stitches and play with his collar, and no one else could do any of that. what a sweet bear. that’s why he’s my kid.

pooch, redux

he’s home (and wondering why the hell i had to use the flash). thank you all so much for your best wishes.

i’m hopelessly in love with patricia arquette.
